Ayesha Zahid graduated from University of the Punjab, Pakistan in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in (Biotechnology). She did masters in Biotechnology from National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (NIBGE), Pakistan. In 2017, she joined the research group of Professor Jin Tengchuan to conduct research, mainly engaged in Vaccine development for Varicella zoster virus (VZV) and production of neutralizing nanobodies against VZV.
