Xueying Yin passed doctoral dissertation defense
Xueying Yin’s doctoral dissertation defense was held successfully in 18th, Oct, 2018 in school of life science of USTC. Xueying Yin is the first Ph.D. student graduated from the Laboratory of Structural Immunology.
Doctoral dissertation defense was held at 2: 00 pm in room 210 of medical building in middle campus. The defense finished at 5:00 pm.
The defense committee was composed of five professors: Jixi Li (Fudan University), Zhexiong Lian (SCUT), Liwen Niu (USTC), Maikun Teng (USTC), Chao Wang (USTC).
Xueying Yin firstly introduced the project she focused on during PhD career. The chairman and members of the defense committee asked questions about the project of the respondent, the respondent calmly answered the questions. Then the defense committee pointed out several detailed problems in respondent’s thesis and the respondent accepted modestly.
Finally, after voting by the defense committee, Prof. Jixi Li, the chairman of the defense committee announced that Xueying Yin, a doctoral student, had successfully passed the defense. He suggests the graduate school to award her Ph.D. degree after necessary changes in the thesis.
